The Quuzj'mijz'm (Quuzj'm, for short) are a race unlike who look, at first glance, deceptively like humans. The sterile children they can produce when they breed with humans do not help the discernment, either. However, with enough attention, the species is made quite clear.
Quuzj'mijz'm have unnaturally pale flax-colored faces, ones that glow faintly in the night. Their skin is rubbery, like the outside of a hard-boiled chicken egg. Their slender bodies and broad shoulders are characteristic of the species. They have large eyes and noses, but small lips, ears, and eyebrows. Their hair ranges from a dark auburn to a cream. They range in height from half a meter to five meters, depending on their food source. However, in general, the food that makes them taller simultaneously makes them more dim-witted, creating a sort of caste spectrum. Every so often, there is a defect where a Quuzj'm has seven fingers on each hand and seven toes on each foot.
When cut open, the Quuzj'm looks nothing like any other race, hinting that perhaps the Quuzj'm came from a different origin. Their blood is the color of gold, and their organ maps look nothing like those of a regular human.
Quuzj'm are built to endure, against any trouble. They are neither fast nor sturdy nor accurate, but they have never been known to tire. They rarely fall to disease, and they can starve for whole years without harming themselves at all. So, while heroic warriors of other races would be praised for their determination and perseverance, the Quuzj'mit hero is praised for his wit. See, they pride themselves on their wit and intelligence, which is higher than the average species but nowhere near the smartest. Further still, Quuzj'm are immune to extreme heat, extreme cold, fire, and any form of rain.
